In olden times the word 'la bouida' meant the little cave. it was here that provisions were kept to protect them from the extreme changes in weather conditions.

Situated in the small alpine village of Tignes les Brevieres, La Bouida is a family run restaurant built from traditional materials and furnished in typical alpine style. It is renowned for its selection of typical savoyard specialities including raclette, fondue and pierrade.
